We are looking for a highly motivated, team-oriented Staff Accountant to join our Finance team. This is an ideal position for an individual who has strong core accounting skills, possesses a willingness to grow with a fast track international company, and believes that work and fun can coexist with the right mix of people.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Batch load employee expense and credit card data in the accounting system, ensuring data integrity.
Manage the interface between Bill.com and Accounting System, resolving sync errors.
Review vendor payables and provide weekly report recommending payments to make
Enter customer invoices and sales orders. File contracts and sales orders. Initiate deployment requests.
Apply payments received from customers on a daily basis
Maintain Revenue Recognition table
Monitor collections, engaging sales team and management as needed
Cash Updates and Monitoring:
Ensure that all bank transactions are recorded and reconciled weekly
Report summarized cash activity weekly and monthly
Report available cash and credit
Month End Close:
Reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts
Record assigned journal entries (prepaids, accruals, depreciation, amortization, revenue recognition, etc.)
Review P&L and Balance Sheet for accuracy, consistency, and correct application of capitalization guidelines
Record foreign subsidiary financial information to facilitate consolidation
Prepare summarized, consolidated monthly financials
Prepare bank compliance certificate
Provide audit schedules and support to facilitate annual audit
Perform other ad hoc finance and business analyses/projects as needed
Skills & Requirements:
Bachelor?s in Accounting required
1+ year hands-on Accounting experience
3+ years of Microsoft Excel (vlookups/pivot tables) experience
Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of basic accounting principles (debits, credits) required
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present analysis in verbal or written form
Resourceful and inclined to research and bring solutions
Team player with strong interpersonal skills
Highly organized with an ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
